I have always enjoyed the adventure of this job. You never know what next week/month is going to bring. What I’m going to see and where I could possibly go (Barbados). The thrill of working at heights.

From what I can tell, there is a mutual trust and respect that is shared by everyone at Hoosier Crane. The company treats the employees well, and the employees represent the company well to the customers. It’s sort of a pride thing. Everyone here wants Hoosier to be the best crane company in the area, and it shows in the quality of work that we do. We might not be the biggest, but we work hard to keep the customers happy. The company treats us well, and we go out of our way to make sure the company does well.

Hoosier Crane has provided more for my family than I could have ever imagined. With the foundation of family values building the business, there has never been a fear of expressing ideas, concerns, or experienced misunderstandings when personal matters need addressed. Hoosier Crane is family and has never shied away from assuring that reality.

I enjoy training up the next generation of crane and hoist technicians. Sharing my knowledge with the next generation is the key for Hoosier Crane. When I can share my knowledge and seeing that the younger technician is learning is a good feeling

I work at Hoosier Crane because you are not just a number and are treated like family. ... I also feel like my opinion, surely not always the best one, is always treated as a valid option and is considered. It truly is hard to find a place to work nowadays with these types of working conditions. To top it all off, the owners are genuinely thankful for their employees. They know everyone on a first name basis and most employees’ families as well. You cannot pass them without them thanking you for what you contribute to the company. Their excitement to give back to their employees is obvious and that truly means the world to me.

I like the ability to work in different places everyday and see different issues constantly. Working on different cranes and in different locations keeps work from getting monotonous. I enjoy the comradery between myself and other employees of Hoosier Crane... I like that everyone at the company is willing to help out when there is an issue.

I work for Hoosier Crane because I believe I learn something every day I come into work. Truely, I feel that Hoosier Crane creates a unique environment where questions are encouraged, and anyone can learn everything. Working here is super fulfilling because I know that I can grow not just career wise but as person as well through all the interactions I have with people in different departments. In simpler words I work at Hoosier Crane because I like the job and I like the people.

I look forward to coming to work as I enjoy the people I work with. We really are a family, and that culture is very important from the top down. ... One of the best things about HCS is that we answer the phone. In a world where so much is automated and you press a button to get sent to voicemail where you never get a call back, we answer the phone 24/7. We are a service company first after all.

My co-workers feel like family and we get along great. As a whole it seems as if everyone is working together and working towards the common goal of providing the Best in the Industry service to our customers... No day is the same.
