Wall mounted jib cranes can be used along walls or columns of plants. They can be used as a supplement to an existing overhead crane or monorail system by being installed under the rail or to the columns allowing the position of smaller parts while the larger crane is in use. Wall mounted jib cranes have 2 brackets that mount to a wall or building beam. This is why wall mounted jib cranes are sometimes referred to as wall bracket jibs. The bottom bracket has a boom that is straight out from the wall with a bracket toward the end that a tie rod is attached to. This is the least expensive type of jib crane because it relies on the support of your wall or columns to support some of the load. It also does not incur the cost of having to install a foundation or footing that can be necessary in floor mounted jib cranes. It does take up the most head room and it exerts the most force on whatever it's mounted to. So make sure to take a look at this when choosing this model.
