Hoosier Crane Installs 10-Ton Crane For ITR America
When ITR America built a new 90,000 square foot facility next to its existing plant in Hobart, Indiana they realized they would need a crane to help with the work. Hoosier Crane had recently installed a 10-ton crane in their other plant, so they contacted us about installing another 10-ton crane in their new facility. The installation of the 10-ton Street crane was done in January of 2019.
“Our VP of Operation had previously looked into the market for quality product as well as good pricing and service. He selected Hoosier Crane to install the crane in our facility next door, so we just decided to use the same company since we were happy with the work,” said Operations Manager Scott Schumacher.
Schumacher said ITR America was pleased with Hoosier Crane’s flexibility.
“Hoosier Crane has been very adaptive. We had a couple setbacks with other aspects of our new facility build and Hoosier adjusted their schedule to meet our schedule and that was very beneficial to us. Additionally, after purchasing the crane before construction we realized we needed more height on the bridge itself. Hoosier was able to technically make the changes we needed and accommodate the additional height we needed.”
ITR Happy with the New Crane
ITR America provides components and repair parts for use on bulldozers, crawlers, excavators and other heavy equipment. They say they are happy with the new crane, which has been operating for months now.
