Hoosier Crane installs crane for Honeywell
Hoosier Crane worked hard to overcome some obstacles and install a 20-ton crane for Honeywell in Muncie, Indiana. The crane was installed outside.
“This crane’s primary use will be for outgoing finished product. We make some very large pipe trains here and we ship them out over the road. This will really help us with our shipping efforts,” said Honeywell Safety Engineer Harry Fowler.
Fowler said Honeywell was happy with the installation.
“Hoosier Crane has a done a really nice job on this project. We got the structural in last fall and we knew we had a long lead time on the hoist. We wanted an outdoor hoist with heaters on it and this unit fit that niche. We think this is going to work very well,” said Fowler.
