Hoosier Crane Volunteers for Habitat for Humanity Panel Build
The employees of Hoosier Crane Service Company are donating their time to help build a house for Habitat for Humanity tomorrow. The construction the employees are participating in is called a "Panel Build", which involves building the wall panels for a Habitat for Humanity house. The work will be done in the Hoosier Crane parking lot and is a great team-building event for the employees and their family.
Habitat for Humanity's vision is to have a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Helping make that vision a reality in Elkhart County, they have introduced these Panel Builds. These types of builds streamline the construction process when building with the partner families.
Hoosier Crane was the first local company to commit the resources for a Panel Build this year and those resources will benefit the family whose home is being constructed. The benefits don't stop there. By partnering with Habitat, Hoosier Crane is providing a valuable team building exercise that can enhance communication and leadership skills and unite employees.
The relationship between Hoosier Crane and Habitat for Humanity is nothing new. Earlier this year, the women of Hoosier Crane participated in a "Women Build" event for Habitat on May 13th. Hoosier Crane was one of the event sponsors, which is meant to spotlight the homeowner challenges faced by women in the community. This event brought a sense of comradery and community for the women of Hoosier Crane and they were proud to participate in the event.
