Employee Spotlight: Rick Stephens
We continue to highlight our outstanding team at Hoosier Crane with our latest employee spotlight. This month we are highlighting an employee that has been with Hoosier Crane since day one. Congratulations, Rick Stephens! Thank you for everything you have done for Hoosier Crane to make it the company it is today.
I have been with Hoosier Crane from the day it opened its doors back in 2002.
Here at Hoosier Crane I am a service tech, crane inspector and overhead crane operator.
There are no typical days. We are a service company. Things change with no notice. You work through it and press on. Every day is a new challenge. The needs of a customer are demanding. Hoosier Crane is a company that must meet their needs. As an inspector, service tech, trainer and sometimes the safety guy. I need to be able to put on many hats. That is why I love doing what I do every day.
My first day at Hoosier Crane. Tom (Schmidt) picked me up from my previous employer and it hasn't stopped since. We just keep moving forward and growing.
Our customers. I really enjoy the relationships I have with our customers. Getting to know them not only in a work capacity but also as friends as well. Nothing like bumping into someone you know from work at a ball game or other after work activity and getting to know them.
The customers and fellow techs. We have a common bond that only we can identify with.
