We continue to highlight our outstanding team at Hoosier Crane with our latest employee spotlight. This time we are highlighting Kim Landrum, the friendly voice you hear when you call Hoosier Crane.

Q: How long have you been working for Hoosier Crane?

Four years, but it doesn't seem that long. 
Q: What do you do here at Hoosier Crane?
I am the receptionist at Hoosier Crane.
Q: What is your typical day?
Answering the phones takes up a lot of my time, but I also greet visitors, verify bills and purchase orders, work to make sure all of our service employees have their uniforms when they need them, contact customers about various paperwork needed, and make sure all expense receipts are entered into our ERP system. And did I mention I answer the phones?
Q: What motivates you?
Caffeine and sugar.  Straight up Mountain Dew by the 2 liter.  I was taught to always give 110% and I'm always trying to do my best and be as efficient as possible.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy getting to talk to customers.  When people call in, I get to talk to them.  I get to say "Good Morning" to each and every person that calls in and I hope I can help brighten someone's day or make them laugh.  I feel that when I'm friendly and happy to people on the phone, that will keep them coming back.  I want to make a difference, in a good way!
